Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1 Scope Review

I have owned three Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1 Scopes attached to various rifles, calibers and types.

I have used it for target and hunting across the US. In all cases it worked perfectly, looked clear and just worked no matter how much throwing around or airline baggage transport it got.

It worked fine on everything from .308 to 300 Win Mag, 7MM and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles...didn't have any issues with the recoil.

It got dropped and didn't lose zero either.

No tracking issues, and super simple zero stop setup.

It's long but not too heavy, the glass is great and the reticle clean and ideal for hunting.

The glass is great, maybe not as great at the BEAST or ATACR but close enough consider the massive difference in price.

The price is amazing for what you get vs. other offerings.

The only drawbacks for me where the limited 4-14 zoom range with my eyes, for extended shooting, and the length. There are only two reticle choices as well.

I plan to switch out my main hunting rifles to the new NX8 that seems to offer a great hybrid between this and the ATACR line, see my comparison review for more details.
